Abstract
This article discusses the evolution of the development of the X-ray diffraction method in the mineralogy laboratory of TPRC LLC, methods of sample preparation and software application, experience of participation in interlaboratory comparison tests in the perimeter of the Company, the optimal set of studies for studying the mineral composition of rocks in the research institutes of the Rosneft Oil Company was adopted.
