Abstract
The paper presents analysis of technical and economic efficiency of hydraulic fracturing in Pashiyan terrigenous reservoirs located in mature productive areas. This problem excited interest due to gradual decline of hydrofrac technical and economic efficiency. The aim was to investigate the reasons for this decline and to find solutions to the problem. Various factors have been analyzed that affect the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing, including geological setting and field conditions in productive areas developed by NGDU Aznakaevskneft. Optimum criteria have been identified to select target reservoirs for frac jobs based on their flow properties. Hydrofrac scheme has been optimized with regard to geological setting and field conditions.
